Boxing HIIT Fitness Classes
A Boxing HIIT class combines the principles of high-intensity interval training with the technique and movements of boxing. The class typically starts with a warm-up to get the heart rate up and loosen up the muscles. This may include dynamic stretching and light cardio exercises such as skipping.
After the warm up we will move into the meat of the workout which will include boxing specific drills such punching combinations on the heavy bag or shadowboxing with weights in our hands.
Throughout the training we also incorporate movements such as such burpees, squats or lunges or we use equipment such as dumbbells, sleds, bikes and ski ergs. One things for sure no two classes are the same, we like to keep the classes exciting and fresh.
Strength Classes
A strength class typically focuses on building muscle mass and improving overall strength. Strength exercises are the main focus of the class and may include exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and other compound lifts that work multiple muscle groups at once.
Our core is the base for which all other movements rely on for stability. We incorporate core work into strength classes, some of the movements you may expect are Russian twists ,planks or crunches. The class may also include isolation exercises, which focus on one muscle group at a time, such as bicep curls or tricep extensions.
Strength and Conditioning Classes
A strength and conditioning class is a type of workout that focuses on building strength, improving athletic performance, and increasing overall fitness. Our strength and conditioning class is similar to our strength classes as it focus on the compound lifts and includes core work and isolation exercises, the difference is in the conditioning piece.
Conditioning exercises can include high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises, bodyweight exercises, or other exercises designed to improve overall fitness and endurance.
Cardio Classes
In our cardio fitness classes, you’ll work through exercises designed to build cardiovascular endurance, burn calories, and strengthen your heart and lungs. Expect coach-led intervals with a proper warm-up, simple technique cues, and options that scale to your level. Sessions rotate between machines and functional drill like cycling, ski-ergs, battle ropes, bag work, and short shuttles, so it stays engaging while steadily improving your engine.
Cardio is a great way to burn fat and feel good. It helps lower stress and anxiety, lifts mood, sharpens focus, and improves sleep, while supporting heart health, blood pressure, and insulin sensitivity. Many members notice more day-to-day energy and quicker recovery between strength days. Managing a niggle? We’ll swap in low-impact options to protect your joints.
Women's Only Boxing Classes
Our women’s only boxing class is similar to a general boxing fitness class, but is designed specifically for women and may have some variations or modifications to cater to their specific fitness needs and goals. You can expect a warm and friendly welcome from our group. This class was created to have a safe and inclusive environment for women to enjoy boxing and fitness.
The class typically includes a warm-up session, basic technique instruction, bag work, partner work and conditioning exercises. This class is focused on building confidence and empowering women through boxing.
